Wild Love

Wild Love

We are wild, too

Capturing wild love
Sleeping with the summer moon
Under a bridge
amongst the Mallards
and Robin’s song

Taming wild love
Softening the hard pavement
with warm embrace
motionless momentum
as the baby spiders spawn

Breaking wild love
Yeilding to the weathered fates
through mindless wander
the spiders sing
to catch their supper

Freeing wild love
Releasing the beast of heart
as are the dogs unrestrained
as does the river flow
to endless sea
