Cú Chulainn has dropped
I’m thrilled to finally share that my new album, Cú Chulainn, is here! This project, inspired by the legendary Ulster hero, was meant to arrive last year, but like Cú Chulainn’s own epic battles, it demanded more time, heart, and resilience to complete.
My name, Cullah, and the name Cú Chulainn draw from the Irish Gaelic Culann and Cú Uladh (“Hound of Ulster”), echoing the ancient spirit of Ulster’s Ulaidh and its timeless legacy of creation and loyalty. This is no coincidence. This is a mystical connection that weaves a thread through time, linking me and my family’s name to the enduring heart of Ireland’s northern soul.
Thank you for your patience and unwavering support—it means the world to me. If you were checking the website, you’ll know the album was live on April 27th and, over the last few weeks, I have been making some final mixing updates before finalizing vinyl, cds, and streaming distribution.
Creating Cú Chulainn has been a transformative journey. It has taken longer than my typical album-a-year output – which after the 1/2 album became much more difficult to sustain.

Like Cú Chulainn, a great protector and warrior of his people must burden themselves with great responsibility to fight against invading forces that may destroy his people. This is the main theme that has echoed in my mind throughout the time making this album. What truly is the warrior spirit and how can I understand it in myself. To me, technology, information, and politics are some of the hardest battles we face in the 21st century. Some of the hardest challenges I have ever faced have been these last couple years learning about these challenges to understand how I may integrate my own warrior – to fight back against those forces that use them to hurt my people. To understand the modern warrior.
The album features five songs, many tied to a pivotal moment in Cú Chulainn’s life that resonates with my own. From struggle to triumph, these tracks are a piece of my soul, and I hope they speak to you as deeply as they do to me. I’m incredibly grateful for the chance to share another chapter of my music with you, and I truly hope you’ll love what you hear.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Your support fuels my creativity, and I can’t wait for you to experience Cú Chulainn.
With gratitude,
Cullah
